## Creating a Service Account

Create a Service Account through the [Google Developer console](https://console.developers.google.com/).

1\. Enable the [Google Analytics API](https://console.developers.google.com/apis/library/analytics.googleapis.com) in the API Library

4\. Give your service account a name.

An email was created that is associated with your Service Account. Make note of it.

You are now done with Google Developer Console.

### Give access to Google Analytics View

For the Google Analytics plugin to make a successful connection to your Google Analytics View, you will need to add a user for that view that has that email address and "Read & Analyse" permissions.
