# What is Naviga Photos? Our Naviga Photos desktop plugin for Dashboard was developed to create a simple and effective way to make it possible to upload photos to the Content Creation Tools. Uploading multiple images, editing metadata, adding concepts in a simple and modern user interface.
Uploading photos is as easy as drag and drop or browsing your computer.
Metadata that has been added in other standard applications will be mapped to Naviga Photos metadata fields, and you can overwrite this metadata if there is a need.
