# E-mail notification

You can send the assignees an e-mail notification about the assignment. (To make this function to work, your organization has to make this setting in the configuration.) You see the sharing icon up to the right (1). In this assignment there is one assignees (2).&#x20;

When you have clicked on the sharing icon a dialog will opened up. The assignees in the assignment will be suggested. So of you have several assignees but only want to send the email to one, you deselect the ones that should not get the email. When you click on Send, the assignees will get an email with the information that contains the information in the assignment.
