# How to use Publication Planner

In Publication Planner you have calendar view that you can customise and filter in way that suits your organisation.&#x20;

I the example below the configuration includes a day view, selected date and some filters. Filter the column by writing for example Author name.

In the calendar time slots you see planned articles as cards that holds a lot of information, that also is configurable and mirrors the article's settings and metadata such as  priority, publications length, channels, image thumbnail, scheduled publishing time etc, see the example below.

Click on the card to open the article in Writer.
