# Open linked assignment

In Publication Planner you can access the planning items that belongs to the planning tool Newsroom Planner, which has the planning items assignments and events.

To open the assignment:

1. Press the three dots at the card.
2. The planning and publishing dialog opens.
3. Select Open assignment.
