Financial Report Packages
Financial Report Package Setup
This feature allows user to create report packages which are collections of financial reports. This screen lets an administrator setup report packages and define who can use them. To do so, administrator should first navigate to calculate the financial report, through the menu financial reports -> calculate the financial statement report. Enter the period to be calculated and click “calculate period”.
Navigate to the menu financial reports -> setup financial report packages. Click the + sign to add a new package. Enter the description, check the names of the users allowed to view the report and choose the report period. Check the buttons as needed for alternating color rows to make every row a different color in the report, check vertical borders, and horizontal borders if lines are needed around the report as a frame.

In the reports section, enter the number which you’d like the first report to appear. For example, 1, would make this report the first on the package.
Choose the report from the drop-down menu, which contains all available reports.

Choose the report type being balance sheet or P&L report or a 12-period report or custom report and so forth according to the report types setup in the system.
Choose the budget type also from the drop down according to the setup in the application. For custom reports, there will be a corresponding custom template. Once complete with the choice of one report, click the + sign. Repeat the process till all the reports are added to the package.
When complete, you can click the “apply sort”, which will automatically line up the reports in the sort order which was entered by user.
Administrator can also edit the report just created. To do so, pull up the report package from the drop-down menu. Edit the period, or the report list. Click the save button to store the new settings.
Administrator can also click the copy button to copy an existing report to a new report and make changes to the new copy. To do so, click the “copy” button.
A new screen displays with the fields to copy from, to and ID.

Enter the package to copy from, the new package ID will be automatically assigned and enter the new package description. Click the copy button.
Generate Financial Reports Packages
User who can view the report package can then access the report packages. As a pre-requisite, the phantom scheduler must be running. To confirm it is running, navigate to the system settings module -> setup menu -> phantom scheduler. Then click the start button, and OK. Without this step, the reports cannot be run or viewed.
User can either generate the report in the form of PDF to screen or PDF emailed to themselves or others. To do so, navigate to the menu Financial Reports -> Generate Financial Reports Packages.
Choose the package ID from the drop-down menu and choose the financial period for which to run the report.

Click the button “generate PDF” to view the report on the screen. The report will display in a separate screen.
A cover page will display. It contains the name of the report, and the reports description and the corresponding page numbers.

Detailed reports will display.
