Company Setup

This is the menu from which to setup system companies. Navigate to Setup -> Admin -> Company Setup.

Choose the company from the drop-down menu or click the + to create a new company

Company Settings

  1. Company Address: enter the address of your company.

  2. Company Phone: Phone number for the company.

  3. US Federal Tax ID: This is the social security number equivalent for the company which will be posted on all forms as required by law.

Statements

If you print customer statements by system company, it may be desirable to have a different form or logo per company.

The Parent Company for Statements dropdown is a list of system companies. If the desire is to print consolidated statements between companies, select the parent company here. In A/R Setup there is also a place to define a separate form for parent company statements.

1099 Form Setup

These are the fields required on 1099 forms to be setup and used to be sent to the IRS.

1042 Tax Form Settings for Print and Electronic Filling

These are settings specific to the 1042 tax forms.

Remit to Settings

These are the fields to be filled out for the remit-to contact information. It can be added to Invoices and Statements.

Other Settings

Enter the G/L account information for the suspension G/L account and the miscellaneous orders invoice prefix.

Electronic Payments

These settings are used when sending electronic payments.
