G/L Types
G/L Types
G/L Types are linked to actual G/L Codes in Product Setup. The G/L Type is an end-user-friendly way to look at a G/L allocation for a given Order/Campaign. Using the examples below, Instead of seeing a long string of numbers on a campaign, the user will see that revenue was going to the "Print Classified" G/L for this product, or that it went to Web Sponsorship revenue, etc.
Navigate to the menu Setup -> Advertising Setup -> G/L Types

To add a new G/L Type, enter an ID and Description and click the + sign. Click Save.
G/L Override Value
See System -> Admin -> System Parameters -> Invoice Settings -> G/L Override Settings for more detailed info
If the G/L Type Field in G/L Overrides is set to Not use Product Rules and has a segment number in the Segment to Change Column, then this field will become a dropdown for that G/L Segment.
