System requirements

  • Mac or Win

  • InDesign CC, version 2017 and later

  • Runs on desktop and InDesign Server

InDesign plugins

There are one or two components that needs to be installed, depending on wanted functionality.

  • The Naviga Templates plugins - needed for executing an elastic process.

  • The Properties UI panel (desktop only) - used for configuration of properties and testing.

Naviga Templates plugin

This InDesign plugin is un-zipped and installed in the plugin folder just as any InDesign plugin. Simply place the plugins in the folder called "Plug-Ins" in the Adobe InDesign application folder.

Properties UI panel

The UI panel package should be un-zipped and placed in one of the following folders of your choice:

MAC:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions

/Applications/Adobe InDesign CC 2019/Adobe InDesign CC 2019.app/Contents/Resources/CEP/extensions

Note: the zip file itself, or any other additional files, must not be left within the unzipped folder.

Keyboard shortcuts

When installed you can assign keyboard shortcuts to:

  • Run the elastic process on selected frames on a page. This is the same as clicking on the Run button in the Properties panel.

  • Open the preferences dialog to add a license for example.
