As Naviga Print automation is integrated into both existing and new tools means you are able to work with the best printing engine without even seeing it.

For our customers already using NCS Content or Newspilot we have great news: the print automation is supported by both these platforms!

In many cases, you can get up and running with minimal changes to your current solution and workflow. Using Newspilot Whiteboard or Naviga Plan (CHECK), the process from plan to print can be close to fully automated for many pages – drag and drop articles to replan both pages and layout, with automatic layout adjustments to make the content fit into the planned area.

You create your article templates as before, with the addition of adding the layout rules and properties needed for the layout elastification process. Placed articles can be either automatically or manually elastified – both in InDesign Desktop and of course also using InDesign Server.

This way it is possible to plan, place, create and output many pages without the need for a desktop InDesign client. At the same time, if you do need to make manual adjustments, this is possible using the tools you already know and master - just open the automatically created page in InDesign and make the adjustments you want.
