Import Campaign Lines

Users can import lines for an existing campaign in the advertising system.

Campaign Import Lines

User can import any number of lines with any number of various ad types for different Products, similar to the user creating these lines directly in Naviga Ad.

To do so, navigate to an existing campaign. Click the node Line Items. Click the button “Import”.

Delete Current Lines

When the pop up screen displays to import the lines, there is a chance for user to delete current lines in a campaign and import the new ones from the excel sheet. This is by choosing the button “Delete Current Lines”. If you click this button, this allows you to import any number of campaign lines and delete the existing current lines on this campaign at the same time.

If you would like to retain the existing campaign lines and add to them, then do not click on this delete button.

Import Template

Click the button “Download Template”.

This will open the excel spreadsheet for you to fill out. The fields are as follows:

Once you enter the data, save the excel template to your desktop and note the path.

Click the “Select” button in the import pop up screen and browse to find the saved excel. Choose the file to upload it.

You must click the button “Check Data” before performing the import to correct any errors.

If you have errors, you will receive a message indicating this and when you click OK, you will be given the location and reason for the error.

Click close and return to the pop-up import screen. Click the “Remove” x button.

Correct the indicated errors in the template. Resave the template to your desktop. Then repeat the process of uploading the file till all errors have been corrected.

Once all the data is correct, click the button “Import Lines”. You will receive a warning that only valid rows will be imported. Click OK, and then you will receive a success message of the import.

Click OK and note the new line(s) are now added to the campaign.

This new line(s) can be edited and they will reflect the data imported.
