04/2021 Release update

The latest release update from the Naviga Content Creation team.

This release cycle we focused on several improvements to workflow and usability in the entire Content Creation platform. In this document you will find an overview of the releases as well as links for more in depth reading.

Writer Core

Writer 7.1.0 release

Summary of changes:

• Fixed extra whitespace sometimes added when using text annotations

• Adjusted font size of slightly shrunken paragraph text style

• Drag and dropping, or cut and pasting content objects should no longer create empty paragraphs

• New build process for critical dependency

• Fixed sidebar not always updating its content when copying article

• Smoothed out image resizing when editor area changes

• Improved UX for Configuration test tool on smaller screens

• New UIComponent UIIconBadge

• New UIComponent UIIconButtonMenu

• Improved content-icons documentation

• Expose available icon names from writer module

Writer 6.5.7 hot fix release

Backport release for fixes regarding updated image metadata lambda which improves parsing of different dates stored in image's metadata.
