# 05/2021 Release update

## Dashboard Applications 

The major initiative for the Dashboard applications has been to add support for the new article preview (requires our new CCA API) – support available in Article Search, Publication Planner and Newsroom Planner.

## Writer plugins

**As a general rule, changes to Writer plugins require Writer Core version 7 or later. Hot fixes are sometimes made available in the Writer 6 track. Check each plugin dependency for more information.**&#x20;
