Handheld Export

Hand Held Data Feed Export (Handheld Export) is used to generate an export for delivery contractors to print magazine delivery notes from their mobile devices upon delivery at the retail outlet. By providing the publication, single copy type, and publishing date for the selected magazine, you may obtain information on the delivery note number, date, truck details, drop point, publication details, copies, price, and newsvendor details.

To generate a Handheld Export:

1. Select Utilities | Custom Menu | Handheld Export to display the Hand Held Data Feed Export screen.

   

   

   
2. Select Add and complete the below fields.

   Field	Type	What to enter
   PRODUCT	setup	Indicate the product that should be included in the report.
   SINGLE COPY TYPE	setup	Indicate the single copy type for this truck sequence (“rack”, “dealer”, etc.). Enter “*” to multi-select single copy types.
   TRUCK SEQUENCE	setup	Enter the truck sequence for this publication.
   PUBLICATION DATE	date	Specify the publishing date of the magazine for which delivery notes will be exported.
   FILE NAME	open	Enter the name of the file to be exported,

3. Select Continue to generate the report.
