Churn Extract
Note: The ChurnRetention feature is a licensed add-on. Contact Naviga Global Support to obtain a password.
Note: Access to the Churn Extract menu option is controlled through Menu Security. The default security value is Not Activated, which prevents users from accessing this menu item. Only users who are associated with the Menu Security ID have access to this option. Access is configured under: System > Security Menu > Menu Security. For assistance, contact Naviga Support.
The Churn Extract utility is used to generate a data extract for identifying subscribers who may be at risk of churning (cancelling their subscriptions). The extracted data can be used for analysis or imported into external churn-analysis systems. This utility is available only when the ChurnRetention add-on is activated.
To run the Churn Extract utility:
Select Churn Extract from the Graphical Utilities | Export menu to display the Churn Extract screen.
Output File LocationThe churn extract file is saved in the churn/out subdirectory of the default exchange directory.
Path:
[defaultdir]/churn/outNote: Ensure that the churn/out subdirectory exists within the default exchange directory. If the folder does not exist, create it before running the Churn Extract utility.

Select Add and complete the following fields.

Select the product for which churn data is required.
STATUS TO DUMP
Specify the subscriber status to include in the extract: Active, Inactive, or Both.
DELIVERY METHOD
Specify the delivery method: Print, Digital, or Both.
CUT-OFF DATE
Enter the cut-off date. Data is extracted from this date onwards.
EXPORT FILE NAME
Enter the file name for the churn export file. The file is generated in the
churn/outsubfolder of the default exchange directory.Select OK and then Continue to generate the churn extract file.
