Single Copy Demographic Answers

Use this option to import answers to Single Copy, Subscription, and Account demographics from a flat file. The file can be any name, but must be placed in the [DefaultDir]/exchange/cm directory.

The flat file must use the following format:

• Single Copy Demographic Answers: Route | Answer

• Subscription Demographic Answers: Subscription ID | Answer

• Account Demographic Answers: Account ID | Answer

The following data types are accepted for both Subscription and Account demographics:

• Integer

• Character

• Decimal

• Logical

• Date

To import the file:

1. Select Utilities | Import | SC Demo Answer to display the SC Demographic Answer screen.

   
2. Select Add.

3. Select the Demographic for which answers are being imported, and enter the File Name to import.

4. Select Continue to import the file. The demographic answers will be set for the routes contained in the file, and a processing file will display details of the import process.
