Plan Automation
This is an add-on Module requiring license from Naviga.
Naviga Plan Automation is designed to select a template (or templates) and place the ads automatically onto pages, thus saving the user some steps in the layout process. The automatic placement of the ads is using the same process that would be done if the user had selected Plan All from the Planning menu. So it is relying on the setup of your running order and pages sets as well as what was booked in the booking system to know where to place the ads.
The user can always move the ads to another spot if desired before outputting the plan downstream to editorial.

Please See Setup for instructions for setting up Plan Automation.
Launch Plan Automation
With setup complete, time to launch Plan Automation on the robot server and start sending in some ads.

Naviga Implementation team will provide the appropriate URL for your system to reach the above page. Log in with the same user and password you would use to log into Naviga Plan.
When first logging in, you will see the waiting countdown until some ads come into the system.
If you have any problems, they will be displayed in red as shown below. The most recent time it runs will appear at the top. So below you can see that I first sent over an order for a Saturday (10/26), forgetting that I hadn't assigned a template to Saturday. I went back to setup, assigned a template, and re-sent the ad over and then viola! The ad was found and planned, saved and closed.

Exiting Automation
At the bottom of the automation screen, there are some icons:

- This icon on the left will log the user out of this session and the screen will return to the login page Automation will continue to run, but you just won't be watching it.
- This icon on the right will shut down Plan Automation on the server. Might not be one of your better ideas to click that unless you have access to the server to re-launch Automation. (It does give you an extra warning asking if you are sure that is what you want to do, so you do have an opportunity to click cancel). The Naviga Implementation team can add Plan Automation to a monitor script that will re-launch certain closed applications if notices it isn't running on the server. So if that is enabled on your server, you can shut it down here and it will startup on its own in a few minutes.

The wrench icon doesn't currently do anything - so click away if you would like.
