Group / Ungroup

Group Objects

You can organize objects into groups. If you save and reopen the plan, the objects remain in the groups.

1. Select the objects you want to place in the group.

2. To group the selected objects, do one of the following:

   • Choose Layout -> Group.

   • Press Alt-G (Windows) or ⌥-G (Mac OS).

   • When you select any object in the group, all objects in the group are selected.

3. To drag and drop the group, select any object in the group and drag and drop it.

Note: You can only drag and drop a group to pages with a corresponding configuration. For example, if the group straddles a spread, you can only move the group to another spread, not a single page.

Ungroup Objects

1. To ungroup the objects in the group, do one of the following:

   • Choose Layout -> Ungroup.

   • Press Alt+Shift-G (Windows) or ⌥+Shift-G (Mac OS).

2. To add objects to a group, you must first ungroup the objects then regroup them, including the additional objects.
