Lock / Unlock Page
Locking and unlocking pages, ads, banners, fillers, and reserved spaces
You can lock a page—which locks all the ads on the page to prevent anyone from changing or deleting them—or lock one or more individual ads, banners, fillers, or reserved spaces on a page. You can also unlock those items.
Locking
To lock one or more pages, select a page or pages and do one of the following:
Choose Pages -> Lock Page.
Press Ctrl-L (Mac OS & Windows).
Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) a single unselected page, and from the menu, choose Lock Page. To lock more than one page in this way, select all of the pages you want to lock, From the menu, choose Pages -> Lock Page.
Important: This locks all the ads on the page, but does not lock other page attributes, such as grids, notes, or color.
To lock individual ads, banners, fillers, or reserved spaces on a page, select one or more of those items and do one of the following:
Choose Pages -> Lock Ad.
Press Ctrl-L (Mac OS & Windows).
Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) a single unselected item, and from the menu, choose Lock Ad. To lock more than one item in this way, select all of the items you want to lock, and from the menu, choose Lock Ad.
A Locked Page will have a lock icon in the bottom right corner, next to the page number (as shown in the screenshot above. A locked ad will have a blue dot in the right corner. To edit a locked page or a locked ad, first unlock the page (or ad) and then make your edit. If both are locked, as shown above, unlocking one ad will automatically unlock the other.
If a page or an ad is locked, and you hover your cursor over an ad to attempt to move it, an icon will appear to remind you that the ad is locked.

Unlocking
To unlock pages, select one or more and do one of the following:
Choose Pages -> Unlock Page.
Press Ctrl+Shift-L (Mac OS & Windows).
Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) a single unselected page, and from the menu, choose Unlock. To lock more than one page in this way, select desired pages and then from the menu, choose Unlock Page. (or use Ctrl-Shift-L)
To unlock ads, banners, fillers, or reserved spaces, select one or more and do one of the following:
Choose Pages -> Unlock Ad.
Press Ctrl+Shift-L (Mac OS & Windows).
Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) a single unselected ad, and from the menu, choose Unlock. To unlock more than one ad in this way, select desired ads and then from the menu, choose Unlock Page. (or use Ctrl-Shift-L)
