Select and deselect objects, pages and page sets
Selecting/Deselecting Objects
You can select more than one object at the same time.
Note: You cannot select a story in the Plan layout window.
To select a single object, click on the object.
To select more than one object, do one of the following:
Shift-click on each additional object.
To select all the objects on selected pages, select a page or pages and do one of the following:
Choose Edit -> Select All.
Press Ctrl-A (Mac OS & Windows).
To select all the ads in an advertising Classification (or Position for ROP), select an ad in that classification and do one of the following:
Choose Edit -> Select Class.
Press Ctrl+Shift-C (Mac OS & Windows).
To select all the liner ads on selected pages, select the pages and choose Edit -> Select All Liners. The selected objects appear in gray instead of their normal color coding.
To deselect all objects, do one of the following:
Click anywhere outside any of the selected objects.
Choose Edit -> Deselect All.
Selecting/Deselecting Pages
You can select more than one page at the same time.
To select a page, do one of the following:
Click on its margin or any unused portion of it.
To select an additional page, do one of the following:
Shift-click on its margin or any unused portion of it.
To select several pages:
Select the first page in the group
Alt-Shift-click the last page in the group (Opt-Shift-Click on Mac)
To deselect a page, shift-click on it.
To deselect all but one page, click on the page you want to select.
Selecting/Deselecting Page Sets
To select all pages in a page set, do one of the following:
Double-click on the Page Set Name bar above any page in the page set.
Select a page in the page set and choose Edit -> Select Page Set.
Select a page in the page set and press Ctrl+Shift-A (Mac OS & Windows).
To select all pages in an additional page set, double-click on the Page Set Name bar above the page set.
To select all the pages in a plan, do one of the following:
Choose Edit -> Select All Pages.
Press Ctrl-G (Mac OS & Windows). The borders of the selected pages turn red.
To deselect a page set, shift-double-click on the Page Set Name bar above the page set.
To deselect all pages, do one of the following:
Click in the layout outside any pages.
Choose Edit -> Deselect All.
