Change Plan Templates
Templates are plans that do not have ads or stories assigned to them. You can create and maintain a library of plan templates.
When you create a plan or open a scheduled plan that has never been opened, templates are available in the Use Plan Template popup in the New Plan dialog box.
You can create a plan template from scratch, or you can modify an existing plan or plan template. In either case you save a copy of the plan as a new template.
When you save a plan as a template, Naviga Plan saves a separate copy of it in the database.
To create a new plan from scratch, see Creating a plan or template from scratch.
Note: Normally you save running orders to each page before saving a plan as a template. See Managing running orders.
Changing templates
After you have opened a plan, if templates have been created for the product, you can change the plan template.
Note: Changing the plan template may unplace all ads on the plan.
Do one of the following:
Choose Layout -> Change Template.
Press Ctrl-E (Windows) or Command-E (Mac OS). The Change Template dialog box opens.

From the Template list, select a template.
Click OK.
The plan is reconfigured according to the selected template. You may have to replan all ads on the plan.
