Split Screen

Using a split screen in Naviga Plan

If you are viewing a plan, you can split your screen to see the plan in two or more views simultaneously.

Note: You cannot view multiple editions with a split screen.

Each view has scroll bars so you can see different parts of the plan at the same time.

Whatever change you make in the plan in one view is immediately changed in the plan in the other views. However, you can magnify or reduce one view without magnifying or reducing the other views.

Note: You cannot drag an object from one view to the other.

  1. To split your screen, do one of the following:

    • To split your screen vertically, choose View -> Split Screen Vertically. A vertical bar appears, with two views of the plan, side by side.

    • To split your screen horizontally, choose View -> Split Screen Horizontally. A horizontal bar appears, with two views of the plan, above and below.

  2. Adjust the vertical or horizontal bar to allocate the space between the views.

  3. To magnify or reduce the view in one part of the split screen, click anywhere in that view’s layout area. The layout border turns red. Magnify or reduce the view.

  4. To unsplit your screen, choose View -> Remove Split Screen. The right or bottom view closes and the borders of the left or top view expand to fill the screen. If you have more than two views, the views are removed in the reverse of the order they were added.
