Insert / Delete Page
Inserting pages in a page set
You can insert pages in a page set.
Important: Be certain no one else is working in the page set before inserting a page into it. If anyone has any pages checked out, you cannot insert the page. If anyone is working in the page set in InDesign, you can insert the page, but editorial may be affected.
Important: You cannot undo inserting a page.
Select a page in the plan. Note: The page you select does not need to be in the target page set. It is more efficient, however, to select a page next to which you intend to insert the new pages (unless you are inserting the pages at the beginning or end of the plan).
Do one of the following:
In the Plan menu, choose Pages -> Insert Page.
Press Ctrl+Shift-N (Windows) or Command+Shift-N (Mac OS). The Insert Page dialog box opens.

Page(s)

Section Letter text box
The section letter assigned to the target page set. (Read only.)
Page Number text box
Enter the page number relative to where the insertion should occur.
Page Set text box
Select the page set.
Cancel button
Cancel and close the dialog box.
OK button
Insert the pages and close the dialog box.
Enter the number of pages you want to insert.
From the Insert popup, select the place you want to insert the pages.
If you did not select a target page next to where you want to insert the new pages and did not select At Start or At End from the Insert popup, do the following:
Enter a target page number in the text box.
From the Page Set popup, select a target page set.
Click OK.
Deleting Pages from a Page set
If a page contains no ads or stories, you can delete it in the Plan menu.
