Author

The author field will be set automatically after logging in to the Writer. It will by default set the current user as an author on new articles.

If you get a message when you are starting, saying:

"We could not find an author matching the current user account. We need this to automatically set your byline."

Don't worry, that may mean that you have logged in with other credentials than your Byline were configured with. You can ignore that at the moment by pressing later. Check credentials, email and Byline name with your administrator.

If you can not press "later" in the dialog, it means that you can not continue with that user and that you have to get in contact with your administrator to get the connection with your AD to work before you can start to work in the writer.

If you want to set another author you can do so in the author function.
