Approving Pages

If your system administrator has enabled it in your user profile, you can approve pages to indicate they are ready for output.

  1. In the Plan, select the page, or select more than one page by shift-clicking.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • In the Plan menu, choose File -> Approve.

    • Press Ctrl+Alt-A (Windows) or Command+Option-A (Mac OS).

  3. If you have not saved your changes, the Save Plan dialog box appears, asking whether you want to save your changes or cancel the operation before approving. To continue, click Save to save your changes, or click do not Save to discard your changes.

If you clicked Save, the page is approved. A blue box icon appears at the bottom of the page. ()

Note: Plan remembers when you approve a page. The page is still approved the next time you open the plan, even if you did not perform another save before closing.

To cancel approval of pages

  1. In the Plan, select the page, or select more than one page by shift-clicking.

  2. In the Plan menu, choose File -> Cancel Approval. The pages are unapproved. The following occur:

    • The Page Signed Off Indicator icon () at the bottom of the selected pages disappears.

Note: Plan remembers when you cancel the approval of a page. The previously approved page remains unapproved the next time you open the plan, even if you did not perform another save before closing.
